Advanced Cryptographic Capabilities and Over-the-Network Keying now available on TACLANE®-Micro and TACLANE-1G.
FAIRFAX, Va. – General Dynamics Mission Systems has released the TACLANE R4.3 upgrade, bringing critical capabilities to TACLANE-Micro (KG-175D) and TACLANE-1G (KG-175G) to address the dynamic, persistent cyber threat customers and end-users face. General Dynamics is the first to provide Advanced Cryptographic Capabilities (ACC) certified products to the market. The new ACC and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Over-the-Network Keying (OTNK) features help to extend the value and life of these widely-deployed High Assurance IP Encryptors (HAIPE).
TACLANE R4.3 enhancements include:
- ACC modernizes cryptographic algorithms to defend against modern and advanced cyber threats. This upgrade is easily field upgradeable and is backwards compatible with earlier releases.
- KMI OTNK improves key management for faster, simpler, safer operations by enabling automatic and immediate key generation and delivery for HAIPE devices eliminating reliance on key fill devices.
The TACLANE R4.3 ACC/KMI OTNK features are included in the TACLANE-Nano (KG-175N)*, and are in development for the TACLANE-FLEX (KG-175F) and TACLANE-10G (KG-175X).
TACLANE R4.3 is supported by the GEM® One Encryptor Manager (R1.2). GEM One provides remote management of TACLANE encryptors from anywhere in the network and offers a holistic view and administrative capabilities for more detailed situational awareness.
