Our Manassas, VA Office
Engineering Solutions That Last Generations
Our Manassas office is a General Dynamics Mission Systems location in the historic city of Manassas, Virginia, home of the first major land battle of the Civil War. Join us in Manassas as we reflect on our military past to develop innovations in technology and engineer our future.
Join Our Team
In Manassas, we specialize in software and hardware solutions for acoustics, cybersecurity, weapon launch and control systems, surveillance, and complex multi-tiered architectures.
Warfare Systems
From development, production, and legacy systems support to first-time prototypes, we develop military solutions to improve warfighter capability. Our software and hardware technologies are integrated into Naval platforms that span sea, land, and air.
Cybersecurity
Using a DevSecOps methodology, we prioritize cyber hygiene, cyber threat detection, isolation, and remediation. From access management to intrusion detection, Progeny Systems' cybersecurity software is multi-level, customizable, scalable, and robust to better protect against future cyber attacks.
Research and Development
We continue to improve, optimize, and produce new products, starting from the conception of new ideas to low-cost prototyping, productization, and secure delivery pipelines. We have been providing advanced technical solutions for 25 years and will continue for many years to come.
Living In Manassas
The heart of Manassas is Old Town, a historic center that began in the
mid 1800s. Once the site of major Civil War railway transportation,
Old Town is now a quaint area of local businesses, restaurants, cafes,
farmers markets, and annual festivals. The Amtrak and other rail
services keeps Manassas well connected to surrounding areas.
Manassas is diverse, with a wide range of international cuisines and events. George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College both have campuses in town for further education. As a smaller, family-friendly town, Manassas offers history, nature, and accessibility to urban activities, without the hustle and bustle of major city living.
For history lovers, visit the Manassas National Battlefield park (local), Washington D.C., Mount Vernon, Harper's Ferry (1 hour), and Jamestown/Williamsburg (2.5 hours). For adventure seekers, drive to Shenandoah National Park (1.5 hours) or local hiking spots. For art and culture lovers, the Hylton Performing Arts Center (local) hosts numerous concerts and productions year round.
WHERE WE ARE
Campus Buildings
Our Manassas location is housed in two facilities: Progeny Systems HQ and Progeny Systems East Manassas Campus. Within driving distance of each other, both facilities develop numerous engineering solutions and technologies for our nation.
