Assured PNT Systems For Ground Vehicles
Affordable, Scalable & M-Code Capable Systems
The Army tactical ground vehicle fleet consists of approximately 100,000 total vehicles, many of which are dependent on GPS-based positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) data. GPS Source, a subsidiary of General Dynamics Mission Systems, has fielded a family of Assured PNT (APNT) solutions for the entire tactical ground vehicle fleet that are scalable, low-cost and easy to install.
Introducing Our Latest APNT Systems
Our new family of products is based on DoD and Army defined threat conditions and are scalable, low-cost and easy to install solutions for the great majority of the Army tactical ground vehicle fleet. Both the Fight Tonight solution and the MRPA Horizon Nuller are available today and in use by either U.S. Army units or friendly forces. The HALO Assured PNT System provides Assured PNT capability in GPS-denied environments. All three solutions are drop-in replacements for existing hardware and can be installed at the unit level.
- All solutions are M-code capable
- 20-Minute drop-in replacement of existing hardware using existing cabling & mounts
LOW-COST & EASY TO INSTALL APNT Products
The core of our APNT systems, the ED3M PNT Hub, is widely utilized in a variety of ground vehicle applications and is the lead platform for Army and Military Marine Corps for GPS User Equipment (MGUE).
Enhanced D3 M-Code PNT Distribution Hub (ED3M)
The ED3M PNT Hub provides M-code protected GPS data and is widely utilized in a variety of ground vehicle applications. ED3M is also available with an optional VICTORY CSAC Accessory Module (VCAM).
HALO Smart Antenna
HALO is our premier Assured PNT system, enabling continued operations in the toughest threat conditions, including GPS denied environments.
Fight Tonight Assured PNT System
Our Fight Tonight Assured PNT System is a modification of the MAPS GEN I System, which is the only operational ground Assured PNT System available. Fight Tonight is available now and is currently in use in INDOPACOM.
MRPA Horizon-Nulling Active Antenna
The Modified Reception Pattern Antenna (MRPA) is an active Horizon-Nulling GNSS antenna designed to null terrestrial interferences arriving at low elevation angles. MRPA is available now and currently in use in Eastern Europe.
Our solutions capability in all threat conditions defined in DoDI 4650.08 and U.S. Army APNT ICD and MAPS CDD.
Fight Tonight and MRPA are “drop-in” for DAGR/RA2 systems and available now.
Featured Program: MAPS GEN I
The Mounted Assured PNT System (MAPS) GEN I is an Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing system that monitors GPS signals for validity and sends the validated data to military devices, even when GPS signals are degraded or denied.
The Army has fielded the MAPS GEN I system, making it the first APNT solution to be operationally deployed. Based on successful installation and performance of these systems during field testing by the Army, the Army’s Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing ordered the first 2,000 units for operational deployment.
