The Innovation Sourcing Network™ is General Dynamics Mission Systems' organization that drives more efficient interaction between our enterprise and industry.
The ISN™ is the entry point for prospective suppliers who want to do business with General Dynamics Mission Systems. The ISN “connects the dots” between our internal teams and our suppliers, making sure your information is heard and seen by the Mission Systems teams most relevant to your capabilities. We get to know your business and you get to understand our supply chain processes and technical needs.
The ISN™ will share General Dynamics Mission Systems supply chain/technical opportunities and needs with your organization. We do this through our 'TechScout' process. TechScout is critical to our supply chain process to source potential outside solutions. We need your innovative approaches to build partnerships that solve our customers' greatest challenges.
The ISN will send 'TechScouts' at the pace of business need. We encourage you to check your email regularly for these opportunities. You will be notified by email (techscout@gd-ms.com) of a new posted TechScout. Please be sure to encourage your technical teams to sign up for these alerts so they can assist in preparing the requested responses and make sure to add techscout@gd-ms.com to your safelist. The ISN also sends out a bi-monthly newsletter. It educates our supply base on Supply Chain updates, compliance requirements, risk management tools, small business assistance, product features and program spotlights.
The ISN™ is a virtual network and operates without brick and mortar facilities. The Innovation Sourcing Network supports all US and International teams that procure solutions for General Dynamics Mission Systems.
