  • Are job interviews happening in-person or online?

    In order to limit visits to our facilities, our recruiters and hiring managers are replacing in-person interviews with phone or video interviews over Skype or WebEx. If in-person interviews are critical for the position, General Dynamics is following all state restrictions and following the CDC’s advice on social distancing, to include not shaking hands, sitting 6-feet apart and making sure your interview space is clean with wipes and hand sanitizer readily available

  • Are the positions you are hiring for required to work on a General Dynamics campus or can I work from home?

    During the COVID-19 outbreak, telecommuting is highly encouraged for positions with responsibilities that can be accomplished remotely. Each new hire will be issued the necessary equipment to facilitate work in their telecommuting environment. However, some General Dynamics Mission Systems positions require our employees to be in one of our locations. If working onsite during the COVID-19 outbreak is essential to the position you are applying for, we will make you aware of this during the interview process.

  • How will the changes to the hiring process impact my start date?

    General Dynamics Mission Systems is delaying start dates for any new hires that have traveled internationally or on a cruise ship, been exposed to anyone who has in the past 14 days, or are feeling ill. If any of these events have occurred, we will not be able to enter the facility and we will kindly ask to postpone your start date for 14 days from the date of exposure or until you feel well and do not have any symptoms (fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath).

  • Once I have accepted the position, how will I complete my new hire paperwork including my I-9 and US Citizenship verification?

    While the vast majority of the new hire paperwork can be completed and submitted online, the I-9 requires that new hires have documents inspected in-person so one of our HR contacts will reach out to you directly to assist you with our on-boarding process. As a government contractor we are required to adhere to specific rules regarding the verification review including:

    • Providing original IDs to verify US Citizenship
    • Bringing original, unexpired documents on your start date
    • Reporting onsite to complete these tasks and to obtain a GDMS employee badge and other essential work items
  • Are new employee orientations available during COVID-19?

    We will conduct online new employee orientation sessions to all new hires, once company issued equipment is provided to the new employee.

  • How do I edit my resume profile?

    To edit your resume, you will need to log in to your existing profile. When you first submitted your resume, a system generated email was sent. Since these are system generated emails, you may need to check your bulk mail or spam folder if you do not see the email in your regular inbox. If you forgot your password, use the FORGOT PASSWORD link and the system will generate a new email. Please note that the user name and the password are case sensitive, and may include spaces or special characters that are easy to miss. We recommend you copy (ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) the information directly from the email into the form fields, taking care not to include an extra space at the end.

  • I forgot my password. How do I log in?

  • I didn’t receive the email with my login and/or password. How do I retrieve it?

    Since these are system generated emails, you may need to check your bulk mail or spam folder if you do not see the email in your regular inbox. If you find the email in your bulk mail or spam folder, please add the domain resumeware.net to the safe sender list by following your email provider’s instructions.

  • I received my password but it is not working? How do I log in?

    Please note that the user name and the password are case sensitive, and may include spaces or special characters that are easy to miss. We recommend you copy (ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) the information directly from the email into the form fields.

  • My account appears to be locked. How do I unlock it?

    If you enter in your password incorrectly three times, your account will be locked for 30 minutes.  You can either wait 30 minutes and try again, or use the Forgot Password information above. NOTE: Add ons that remember passwords can cause lock outs if you change your password. Disable the application for iCIMS to ensure your new password will work.

  • My resume will not upload, or fields will not be completed. What is wrong?

    If your file is a PDF, you need to ensure that it is not a graphic, but is a PDF with embedded text. Also, we only accept file types: PDF, DOC, TXT. Make sure the file is not open in another application. If you cannot get the file to upload, you can copy and paste the information into the field forms.

  • I entered my information and hit submit. The system is telling me that a profile with my information is already in the system. How do I access that profile?

  • I received a link to complete a form, How do I log in?

  • How do I see the status of my submission?

    Log in to your account and you will see the status for each requisition.

  • I received a job offer from your company. How do I know if it is legitimate?

    An offer of employment will only be extended after you apply for a position with General Dynamics Mission Systems. Recruiters will contact candidates directly to discuss employment. Written offers are generated through our applicant tracking system, and come from talent.icims.com. We do not make offers through any outside channels or social media.

  • How do I withdraw from a requisition?

    Log in to your account. If you are not in an offer stage, you can withdraw using the link.
