DC23 Confidence In Your Digital World

In April, General Dynamics Mission Systems' Cyber Systems line of business hosted hundreds of customers, industry leaders and academics in Nashville, TN for Dynamic Connections 2023 to explore the latest trends, challenges and solutions surrounding the security of our Nation’s critical information. An evolution of the Cyber Systems User Conference, Dynamics Connections is in its 5th year bringing together a community of thought leaders and practitioners to discuss and discover how to best secure and protect information to defend against dynamic threats and keep the mission moving forward.

Vice President and General Manager Brian Morrison addressed the reality of the cyber threats government agencies are fighting, and said that the path to overcoming these challenges is working together to find the best way ahead. He added that forums like DC23 provide opportunities to share expertise and insight while challenging one another to continue to do better in advancing our mission security.

During his opening remarks, Vice President of Marketing and Sales Todd Warton, emphasized that by working together, security leaders can better prepare for the rapidly changing mission needs. He highlighted that DC23’s training and breakout sessions were designed to give attendees the edge and encouraged a visit to The Hive Tech Expo where hands on demonstrations by General Dynamics Mission Systems and industry sponsors and exhibitors were featured.

All content showcased at DC23 centered around how General Dynamics Mission Systems and industry are working to further secure our cyber ecosystem, and the current trends and challenges being seen across data protection. Attendees participated in presentations and discussions covering topics such as next generation encryption technologies, the TACLANE® portfolio’s expansion into Layer 2 EDE Network Encryption, cross domain solutions, multilevel security and the future of crypto modernization. Nearly 600 training certificates were issued to the participants who took part in the CompTIA certified product training available throughout the conference. Check out the DC23 agenda for details.

Chris Brady, president of General Dynamics Mission Systems, ended the three-day event speaking to the attendees about the importance of our collective mission to safeguard critical communications and information.

“Each of us share in this mission to design, build and deliver the products and capabilities needed," said Chris Brady. "Events like this week’s DC23 help to keep the collaboration and exploration of solutions moving in the right direction.”

Now that DC23 has concluded, the General Dynamics Mission Systems has started planning for Dynamic Connections 2024.
