Our Progeny Systems offices are General Dynamics Mission Systems locations in the historic, industrial boroughs of Canonsburg and Charleroi, Pennsylvania. Located in Washington County, both boroughs are situated near the Monongahela River 30 miles outside of Pittsburgh. Join us in Pennsylvania for manufacturing and electronics work.

Come to Pennsylvania to work on the development, assembly, test, and delivery of critical electronic hardware for the Department of Defense.
MACHINE SHOP
Our machine shop specializes in custom metal fabrication to exacting specifications. Our services include Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Programming, CNC and manual milling & turning, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and manual inspection, laser part marking/vector cutting, silk-screening, helicoil installation, fastener/hardware installation, and laminating.
ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURING
Our skilled workforce produces integrated electronic systems and subassemblies, full-scale shipboard cabinets, stand-alone box builds, and electro-mechanical weapon system components. Our production teams work closely with our R&D facility, and test prototype hardware.
ENGINEERING
Join our electrical, test, integration, computer science, and mechanical engineers and software developers in cross functional teams to support our torpedo systems. We are responsible for sustaining and creating software and hardware for embedded applications, acoustic sensors, multielement arrays, and transducer systems.
Living in Washington County
Washington County is home to both the Charleroi and Canonsburg office locations. This area is known for having 23 historic covered bridges, trails, and waterfront access on the Monongahela River, rural and urban landscapes, and is a small hub for antiques. With easy access to Pittsburgh, Washington County offers both the peace of nature and the activities of city life.
Charleroi
Charleroi was originally founded in Monongahela River as a glass-making hub during the Industrial Revolution and got its name from the Belgian City of Charleroi, which was the glass manufacturing center of the world. Today, Charleroi, PA is a hybrid of industrial, residential, and commercial centers. Join our Charleroi team to manufacture custom parts in our machine shop, assemble intricate electronics, and test our products.
Canonsburg
Canonsburg is located in a rich coal district just south of Pittsburgh. It's known for seasonal celebrations like Oktoberfest, Old Fashioned Christmas, and most notably, the state's second largest Fourth of July parade where the number of attendees are six times the town's population. Work in Canonsburg to develop, build, and test crucial tactical hardware.
