Chris Brady became president of General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, on January 1, 2019. He was appointed to the position by the General Dynamics board of directors after serving as vice president of Engineering for General Dynamics Mission Systems. As president of General Dynamics Mission Systems, Mr. Brady is responsible for the business’ overall financial and operational success.
General Dynamics Mission Systems is an established, global leader in delivering mission-critical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, communication systems, and platform systems and sensors to military, government and commercial customers. General Dynamics Mission Systems employs approximately 12,000 professionals working in more than 80 facilities worldwide.
While serving as vice president of Engineering, Mr. Brady was responsible for engineering execution across the organization, leading more than 7,000 engineering and technical employees.
Prior to his role as vice president of Engineering, Mr. Brady was general manager of Assured Communications Systems where he grew the business by a factor of 10 over a decade.
Mr. Brady holds a Bachelor of Science in systems engineering from the University of Arizona, a Master of Science in engineering-economic systems from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
Mr. Brady is a six-time Wash100 award winner for his work to advance and innovate enterprise data, infrastructure systems and defense programs to help protect federal agencies, military customers and our nation’s national security and defense.
