Arlington Public Schools hosted a challenge to predict high school outcomes, inviting data science teams from all over the world, from Singapore to Silicon Valley to compete. Deep Learning Analytics data scientist, Dr. John Kaufhold, led the winning “Deep Learning Analytics and Affiliates” team, which included: Aaron Schumacher, a data scientist with Booz Allen Hamilton; Prof. Diane Murphy, chair of the Department of Information Technology at Marymount University, Tommy Shen, a consultant to the World Bank; Ajay Deonarine, an analyst with AIG; and Alec Hubel, a student at the University of California, Berkeley.
