Ann Rusher is vice president of Supply Chain Management for General Dynamics Mission Systems.
Ms. Rusher’s Supply Chain team is responsible for the subcontract management and procurement of all materials, services and support across the company. Ms. Rusher and her team lead the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and strategic partners ensuring that the company’s customers receive products on time while meeting all technical and quality requirements.
The General Dynamics Mission Systems Supply Chain Management Team has a reputation for developing strong customer and partner relationships within traditional U.S. military, homeland security and government communities. Her team consistently goes above and beyond to deliver value to the business.
Prior to Ms. Rusher’s current position, she served as the vice president of Trusted Space Solutions, part of the Space and Intelligence Systems line of business within General Dynamics Mission Systems. In this role, Ms. Rusher was responsible for managing an extensive portfolio of national security space RF and Communications payloads, precision navigation and timing (PNT) and communications products and specialized ground systems programs. Throughout her more than 30-year career, her unwavering focus on program execution excellence, mission success and customer satisfaction enabled her to consistently increase sales and operational earnings despite dynamic market conditions. She led the development and execution of a business growth strategy which resulted in the capture of several new business pursuits that significantly increased General Dynamics market share in the space and intelligence markets, and also created new business opportunities in adjacent markets.
Ms. Rusher earned a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University, graduating with honors as a Summa Cum Laude Scholar. She Joined Motorola in 1988, which was acquired by General Dynamics in 2001.
