The Multi-Mode Standard Transponder (MST) provides compatibility with a variety of government and commercial telemetry and command formats in a single unit at an affordable price. Available receive modes include NASA’s Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS), NASA’s traditional STDN ground network format, AFSCN SGLS and Unified S-Band, and a direct carrier BPSK mode compatible with commercial services and the NASA Ground Network (GN).

The Multi-Mode Standard Transponder (MST) uses modern integrated circuit technology for reduced size and cost. The MST delivers the best value by providing the highest performance and reliability in a low cost fully coherent TT&C transponder for space. Available receive modes include NASA's TDRSS, NASA's traditional STDN ground network format (also compatible with AFSCN Unified S-Band), and a direct carrier BPSK mode compatible with commercial services and some NASA ground assets.
