Counter-Unmanned Vehicles Demonstration
Tethered-Unmanned Aerial System payload to support C-UXV Missions
The Tethered-Unmanned Aerial System was originally designed to extend line-of-sight communications for surface ships. General Dynamics Mission Systems has integrated an EO/IR camera to enhance capability and support Counter-Unmanned Vehicles (C-UxV) missions.
Benefits
- Field modifiable re-configuration of existing, proven C-TEM system to support C-UxV missions
- Elevates EO/IR above obstructions for full 360-degree coverage
- Allows operator to observe and identify targets at long range
- Early track identification provides more options for operator engagement
- Applications range from surface ship to port security protection
- Future opportunities include AI/ML and additional payload integrations
