Scott Dunderdale is vice president and general manager for General Dynamics Mission Systems’ Land & Air Systems line of business.
Land & Air Systems is an industry-leading provider of secure voice and data communications products, munition control guidance and navigation solutions, advanced signals intelligence and electronic warfare systems, warfighter training and simulation capabilities, and open architecture high-assurance computing for defense customers worldwide.
Programs within the line of business include the U.S. Army’s Mounted Mission Command Transport (MMC-T), Long Range Precision Guidance Kit (LR-PGK), Tactical Electronic Warfare System Infantry (TEWS-I), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), and Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT); the U.S. Air Force’s Next Generation Survivor Radio (NGSR), Resilient Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System (R-EGI), and F-16 Programmable Display Generator (PDGU); and the U.S. Navy’s E/A-18G Next Generation Electronic Attack Unit (NGEAU), F/A-18 Advanced Capability Mission Computer (ACMC), and E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Mission Information System (AHE-MIS). Additionally, the line of business provides mission systems for several restricted manned and unmanned platforms.
Land & Air Systems also designs and manufactures Assured Position, Navigation and Timing (A-PNT) solutions, ground-to-air radio products, stores management systems, and highly secure VPX-based embedded devices for a wide range of aircraft and ground platforms.
Previously, Mr. Dunderdale served as the vice president of the Mission Command Networks business area for the former Ground Systems line of business. He also served as the vice president for Networked Computing Systems, overseeing a portfolio that included the U.S. Army Common Hardware Systems program, the U.S. Army Tactical Airspace Integration System program, the U.S. Marine Corps Common Aviation Command and Control System program, and the U.S. SOCOM Ground Mobility Vehicle 1.1 program.
Mr. Dunderdale served seven years as a U.S. Army officer and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot after receiving his bachelor’s degree in engineering management from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also holds an Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University.
