A major step forward in delivering affordable, upgradeable APNT capabilities
CHANTILLY, Va. – General Dynamics Mission Systems announced today that Project Manager, Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) within Capability Program Executive, Intelligence and Spectrum Warfare (CPE ISW) has entered into an Agreement through an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with CMG Networks on behalf of Consortium for Command and Communications in Cyberspace (C5) with its GPS Source subsidiary for a three-year contract valued at $17 million for the prototyping, demonstration, and testing of the NorthStar PNT Hub.

The NorthStar PNT Hub is a modular APNT system engineered to meet the Army's growing need for resilient navigation in GPS-contested environments. Designed to fit into the space of existing Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR) units, our NorthStar PNT Hub delivers rapid platform integration, industry-standard interfaces and a scalable architecture that supports a wide range of antennas, RF sources and independent sensors. Its modular design enables user-level maintenance and straightforward configuration across capability tiers — ensuring affordability, rapid upgrades and long-term adaptability for Army vehicle fleets.
