General Dynamics Mission Systems is proud to announce the promotion of Ron Moore to vice president of Information Technology and chief information officer (CIO) effective January 2026. He has been an integral part of the IT team, serving as the General Dynamics Mission Systems deputy chief information officer since 2023 and chief information security officer and director of cybersecurity since 2015.
Since joining General Dynamics Mission Systems in 2015 from Ernst & Young, Moore has brought extensive IT and cybersecurity expertise, spanning both federal and commercial environments. His specialties include strategic network architecture, cyber policy development, and incident remediation planning. Over the years, he has successfully unified legacy company philosophies and processes, establishing a cohesive and highly effective cyber culture across the organization.
