CHANTILLY, Va. – General Dynamics Mission Systems announced today that it was awarded a $18.2 million cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price contract for the development, maintenance, and delivery of the Common Weapon Launcher and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator. This five year contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $230 million. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales to Australia, the United Kingdom, and United States (AUKUS) partnership. Work will be performed in Manassas, Virginia (60%); Charleroi, Pennsylvania (30%); and Middletown, Rhode Island (10%).

Under this contract, Progeny Systems, a General Dynamics Mission Systems business area, will develop and deliver new and modernized weapon launch and weapon simulation capabilities, while providing in-service support for previously delivered systems.
