FAIRFAX, Va. – General Dynamics Mission Systems’ Progeny Systems announced today that it was awarded a $30,944,470 cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering design, development and supporting procurement for submarine sonar subsystems. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $82,880,849.

Work will be performed in Manassas, Virginia (85%); and Charleroi, Pennsylvania (15%), and is expected to be completed by July 2026. If all options are exercised, work will continue through January 2031.
