The new General Dynamics EDGE Innovation Sourcing Network revitalizes its EDGE collaboration model to ‘crowdsource’ superior technical solutions for customers.

FAIRFAX, Va. – General Dynamics Mission Systems announces the new technical procurement outreach program, ‘TechScout,’ as part of its EDGE Innovation Sourcing Network™ (ISN).  ISN is a fresh initiative for the company’s suppliers and small business vendors, using TechScout, to quickly and efficiently identify innovative solutions for General Dynamics customers. Suppliers will respond to TechScout announcements, submitting their ideas to solve the challenges facing warfighters, first responders and other end-users of General Dynamics’ solutions.

TechScout creates a new entry point for small business and other suppliers to engage in shaping and forming next-generation technical solutions,” said Scotty Miller, vice president of Supply Chain Management for General Dynamics Mission Systems. “Combined with ISN, we now have a powerful open-sourcing ecosystem bringing together our existing supply base and emerging suppliers with unique, game-changing possibilities.”
