In 1978, President Jimmy Carter signed into law a Joint Resolution of the Congress of the United States designating the month of May for the celebration of Asian/Pacific Americans culture and heritage.

As we reflect on the countless contributions made by this rich community, we're reminded that our culture is a reflection of our people.
