Aeryon offers an end-to-end solution for acquisition and analysis of sUAS video with MissionMonitor software from General Dynamics Mediaware.

Aeryon, the premier manufacturer of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), is pleased to announce its agreement with General Dynamics Mediaware to provide Aeryon SkyRanger operators with access to MissionMonitor, an advanced video analysis software platform for interpreting motion imagery and deriving actionable intelligence from aerial video. The powerful combination of SkyRanger and MissionMonitor will improve situational awareness and enable faster decision making for ground forces, remote command, and analysts.

MissionMonitor is a fully STANAG 4609 and NGA Motion Imagery Standards Profile (MISP) compliant video analysis software platform which enables users to exploit metadata embedded in the video stream. Information relating to aircraft location and heading, target location, and camera positioning is essential for interpreting imagery and deriving actionable intelligence. By implementing embedded metadata according to the STANAG 4609 standard, and through extensive interoperability testing, Aeryon has ensured compatibility of video captured by the SkyRanger with the MissionMonitor software.

“Aeryon has taken a standards-based approach to how we capture and distribute video on the SkyRanger platform,” said Dave Kroetsch, President and CEO, Aeryon. “This enables us to offer end-to-end solutions to our customers, incorporating powerful and established video analysis tools such as MissionMonitor.”
