Troy Larson serves as the vice president of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management at General Dynamics Mission Systems, bringing more than 30 years of distinguished experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Mr. Larson is renowned for his expertise in overseeing complex programs from their inception through production and sustainment.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Larson held the position of vice president of the Airborne Systems business, where he led a multidisciplinary team of directors, program managers, engineers, operations, and business development professionals. Under his leadership, the team successfully delivered open, secure and reliable airborne computing solutions to a broad spectrum of U.S. government, commercial, international and restricted customers.
Mr. Larson has also undertaken various significant business and manufacturing leadership roles within General Dynamics Mission Systems, including director of the Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (pLEO) Crypto business, where he delivered essential encryption capabilities to the pLEO market. Additionally, he was the senior director of Manufacturing Operations, overseeing a workforce of more than 700 manufacturing professionals across multiple sites.
Beginning his career as a new product engineer, Mr. Larson focused on ensuring product designs were both producible and cost-effective. His career is marked by a steadfast commitment to enhancing efficiencies in manufacturing and supply chain execution.
Mr. Larson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University.
