Stephen Marker is vice president of growth for General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics Corporation. Bringing over two decades of broad mission experience and expertise, Marker oversees the company’s overarching growth and capital deployment strategies, as well as integration, business-capture development and strategic communications.
Prior to this role, Marker was the vice president of the Secure Networks, Voice and Computing Products business for General Dynamics Mission Systems. He was responsible for the execution, strategic growth, and financial management of a diverse portfolio of products and solutions designed to protect voice and data at the highest levels of security within today’s dynamic threat environment.
During his tenure with the Cyber Systems line of business within General Dynamics Mission Systems, Marker also held several key positions, including vice president of strategy and business development when he won the WashingtonExec Pinnacle Award for Business Development Executive of the Year. He also previously served as the director of product strategy, as a technical fellow/deputy director of technology, and received the annual General Dynamics Mission Systems President’s Technology Award for transformative work within the Intelligence Community.
Mr. Marker graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with both an M.S.E in Computer Science and a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering. He currently serves as an advisory member for the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and as a board member of a non-profit organization.
