Chris Brady is president of General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics. He was appointed to the position effective January 1, 2019, by the General Dynamics board of directors after serving as vice president of Engineering for General Dynamics Mission Systems. As president of General Dynamics Mission Systems, Mr. Brady is responsible for the business unit’s overall financial and operational success.
General Dynamics Mission Systems is a global leader in delivering mission-critical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, communication systems, and platform systems and sensors to military, government and commercial customers. The company employs more than 13,000 professionals working in more than 100 facilities worldwide.
While serving as vice president of Engineering, Mr. Brady was responsible for engineering execution across the organization, leading more than 7,000 engineering and technical employees worldwide. Prior to his role as vice president of Engineering, Mr. Brady was the general manager of Assured Communication Systems growing the business segment by a factor of 10 over ten years.
Mr. Brady holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona, a Master’s Degree in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Arizona State University.
