Chris Brady is Vice President of Engineering for General Dynamics Mission Systems. He is responsible for engineering execution across 60 major GD Mission Systems sites and 6700 employees. Previously, Chris served as the general manager of the Assured Communications business area, which included the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Handheld, Manpack, Small Form-fit (HMS), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) and Digital Modular Radio (DMR) programs among others. In this role he grew the business by a factor of 10 over 10 years.
Prior to General Dynamics, Chris was responsible for the development and successful deployment of the Iridium System ground-based communication gateways.
Brady has more than 30 years of experience in electronic design, project and product management, business development, program management and business management of complex communications products and systems.
A native of New York City, Brady holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona, a Master’s degree in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
