Technical paper abstracts for the 2009 conference, themed The Challenge of Convergence, are due Feb. 15
The MILCOM 2009 technical committee is asking authors from industry, academia and the military and government to electronically submit abstracts of their technical papers by Sunday, Feb. 15. Themed around “The Challenge of Convergence,” MILCOM 2009 will be the premier forum to generate breakthrough solutions for next-generation military and government communications. Tracks for unclassified or classified papers include:
Communications and networking techniques and technologies
Securing, managing and using networks
Systems perspectives
Futures: next-steps and looking ahead

MILCOM 2009 will be held in Boston, Mass., at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center from Oct. 18 through 21, 2009. The conference comprises classified and unclassified presentations, discussion panels and tutorials by leading authorities and technical experts in the areas of military, intelligence and homeland security communications. In addition to the technical program, there will be exhibits featuring “best of the best” products, technologies and resources from industry, military and government worldwide.
