Spacecraft Operations Services
For more than two decades, General Dynamics has worked side-by-side with the U.S. Navy at the Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC), in support of communication satellites and scientific payloads that enable Naval operations worldwide. We provide spacecraft engineering services for the Navy's Fleet Satellite (FLTSAT) Constellation, UHF Follow-on (UFO) Constellation, Polar/Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Payload, and GEOSAT Follow-On (GFO) missions.
As the Navy moves forward and adds the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) to its satellite fleet, we will be there to continue providing exceptional satellite engineering services and unmatched experience to our customers.
Landsat 8 Mission Operations Element
As the principal teammate of the Hammers Company, General Dynamics provides key engineering and operations expertise to the development of the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) Mission Operations Element (MOE). Our engineers are responsible for the design, development, integration, testing, delivery and installation of the MOE. Our commitment to the success of this critical mission also extends to providing ground readiness testing and staffing the deputy Mission Operations Manager position.
