The TACLANE-FLEX is NSA Certified and ACC Compliant to protect information classified Top Secret/SCI and below. ACC Certified software includes support for Modern Agile Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) for disadvantaged networks and applications like SATCOM HAIPE.
The TACLANE-FLEX customizable encryption platform provides the flexibility needed to support today’s advanced cyber security missions – including insider focused threats and external cyber-attacks. With the same form and fit of the widely deployed TACLANE-Micro, the TACLANE-FLEX is the next generation crypto modernization product in a trusted encryption portfolio. Designed for efficient performance and SWAP-C, the TACLANE-FLEX is scalable to support 100 Mb/s to 1 Gb/s full-duplex throughput and is enhanced with advanced features that support additional networking and security capability.
Power Management Feature provides users greater control over the device's power consumption, resulting in increased power efficiency, and decreased operating and touch temperatures and related lifecycle costs.

Optional Feature Enhancements:
Agile Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN): Adds Layer 2 VLAN tagged/ Non-IP Ethernet capability to the TACLANE encryptor enabling simultaneous HAIPE and Layer 2 traffic on a per packet basis without any infrastructure changes. TACLANE encryptors enabled with VLAN still interoperate with standard HAIPE encryptors. Other benefits include: equipment and cost savings, increased bandwidth efficiency, failover and redundancy.
Agile Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP): Increases network availability and performance over disadvantaged networks. This function isolates the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) problems (underutilized link, reduced transmission rate and TCP fairness) from the rest of the network to accelerate network performance over geostationary satellite links, which provides fast network access for mobile users.
TACLANE Trusted Sensor Software: Adds cyber sensing capability to the in-line network encryptor via Deep Packet Inspection (DPI). This capability enables packet header and content filtering for malicious data and issues high assurance encrypted alerts to further protect from attacks. Unlike any other IDS/IPS system, the TACLANE Trusted Sensor software is able to support both open source, user unique or government classified rule sets. This in-depth inspection aids network administrators in understanding the overall health of the system and provides the ability to fine tune network filtering to reduce response time and increase defense in depth.

TACLANE Encryptor Training
The TACLANE Encryptor Operator Training course is a four-day course offered in both our Scottsdale, AZ and Annapolis Junction, MD facilities. The course combines classroom presentations and hands-on-exercises designed to teach you how to install, configure and maintain the TACLANE-FLEX (KG-175F), TACLANE-Nano (KG-175N), TACLANE-Micro (KG-175D), TACLANE-1G (KG-175G) and TACLANE-10G (KG-175X) encryptors in a practical operational environment. The course also includes a complete module of training of our GEM® One encryptor manager software. Students who pass the short written and practical exam at the end of the course will receive a certificate.
TACLANE Trusted Sensor Software Training
The TACLANE Trusted Sensor Software Training course is a one-day course offered at our Annapolis Junction, MD and Scottsdale, AZ facilities. This hands-on course provides in-depth knowledge and training needed to activate, configure and maintain the TACLANE Trusted Sensor Software to identify and mitigate network intrusions. Topics covered include cybersecurity principles, rule generation, alert configuration, and modes of operation. Students who pass the short written and practical exam at the end of the course will receive a certificate.
