Manny Mora is vice president and general manager of Space and Intelligence Systems for General Dynamics Mission Systems. He is responsible for the delivery of strategic programs that include systems for space-based operations, satellite payloads, intelligence systems, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) for the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Intelligence community and military and government organizations worldwide.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Mora was senior vice president for Strategic Business Development and Sales for General Dynamics C4 Systems. In that role, he was responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategic plan for continuous business growth and global operations. He also directed merger and acquisition strategies and business development resources to ensure the company remained a market leader in command, control, communications, computing and ISR (C4ISR) technologies, products and systems.
Mr. Mora also served as the Vice President and General Manager of Battlefield Management Systems for General Dynamics C4 Systems. He led the implementation of critical enabling technologies and products for emerging tactical networks used by the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense.
Mr. Mora joined General Dynamics in 1984 and has 30 years of engineering and management experience in the U.S. defense electronics industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University in 1983.
