Ruggedized Data-at-Rest (DAR) Encryption

The ProtecD@R® Embedded Data-at-Rest (DAR) encryptor protects stored data classified Secret and below for tactical applications. ProtecD@R Embedded is ideal for ruggedized VITA applications and unattended platforms such as tactical vehicles, and UAVs where there is threat of platform compromise or overrun. An example of how ProtecD@R data-at-rest encryption is being used in real tactical environments is with the Vortex Compact Network Storage (CNS) Type 1 File Server from Curtiss-Wright. Ideal for aircraft, ground vehicles, and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) applications, the CNS is a rugged storage subsystem that supports industry standard network storage protocols. The ProtecD@R Embedded is used within this system to secure data classified Secret and Below between base stations and ground or aerial vehicles.
