WHAT:           At the TechNet Augusta 2017, General Dynamics Mission Systems will showcase its broad portfolio of products and capabilities designed to help customers fight and win across multiple domains.

WHEN:           August 8 – 10, 2017

WHERE:         Booth 401, Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center

CONTACTS:   Contact Matthew Billingsley by email or phone at 202-407-1141.

The following will be displayed in General Dynamics Mission Systems’ booth:

Collaborative WIN-T Training: The Nodal Network Simulator (NNS) is a virtualized 3D collaborative simulation training system designed to improve a user’s proficiency in operating various WIN-T platforms. It provides a realistic, free-play gaming environment where soldiers reinforce their skills on simulated WIN-T Increment 2 platforms, systems and networks with an instructor available to provide additional guidance.

Composite Rack-Mount Transit Cases: General Dynamics’ SATCOM Technologies’ Rack-Mount Cases combine rugged durability with a lightweight design. Designed from strong Glass Mat Thermoplastic (GMT) composite material, the extreme stiffness, lightweight and durable properties of the cases enable them to withstand the harshest environments. The cases also have the added utility of slide-mounted 19-inch slide-out racks that allow unlimited access to electronic equipment during installation, integration and maintenance. Available in multiple sizes, the cases provide excellent shock and vibration protection for electronic equipment of all types.

Fortress® Wireless Deployable Kits: Fortress Wireless Deployable Broadband Kits provide an easily transportable, all-in-one solution that enables military personnel to quickly establish or extend an LTE or Wi-Fi network anytime, anywhere. These kits are customizable to support both Fortress LTE and Fortress Wi-Fi Mesh configurations to provide wireless ‘always-on’ access to vital information including real-time imagery, voice and data. In addition the kits are ruggedized to operate in the harshest environments.

Integrated Communications Console demonstrates our innovative approach to reducing the size, weight, and power (SWaP) requirements for platform-based C4ISR systems. Featuring a 36 percent reduction in size combined with a 10 percent reduction in weight, this solution frees up space for additional equipment through hardware virtualization and smaller, ruggedized form factor components.

Network Simplification: The company will demonstrate its WIN-T network simplification capabilities to greatly reduce the complexity of establishing the network. Additionally, the company will highlight ongoing efforts to achieve SWaP savings in the Tactical Communications Node-Lite and Network Operations and Security Center-Lite platforms that recently completed evaluations at the Network Integration Evaluation 17.2, as well as efforts to reduce complexity and achieve SWaP savings in the next generation of Soldier Network Extension and Point of Presence WIN-T platforms.

Sectéra® vIPer Universal Secure Phone is the only NSA-certified Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone that protects information classified Top Secret/SCI and below over commercial wired networks and is the ideal replacement for outdated Secure Terminal Equipment (STE). This modern phone allows users to easily switch between making end-to-end secure and non-secure calls on VoIP and analog networks, eliminating the need for multiple desktop phones. The recently released vIPer phone now includes an embedded fiber interface that allows customers to take advantage of the benefits of modern fiber infrastructures such as greater speed, distance, reliability, security and cost savings.

Small Deployable Antennas: General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies is pleased to introduce its new line of small, deployable antenna terminals. The new product family includes ManPak® flyaway terminals and the uPak® and uPod® quick deploy terminals. The terminals are lightweight, rugged and easy-to-use and deploy. They are available in a variety of reflector sizes and are IATA compliant which makes them easy-to- transport and allows them to be checked luggage on commercial flights.

TACDSis a ruggedized, tactical cross-domain solution (CDS) certified by the NSA providing much needed capability and can be found on a variety of armored and ISR platforms operating at the tactical edge. And to meet the demanding SWaP needs of dismounted military personnel, it is available in a smaller form factor that weighs just eight ounces.

TACLANE®, the world's most widely deployed Type 1 encryptor, continues to provide high-speed interoperable solutions to protect networks and information against evolving cyber threats.

  • The next generation of network encryption, TACLANE-FLEX (KG-175F) is a customizable platform provides the ability to scale from 100 Mb/s to 1 Gb/s throughput and is the same form and fit of the TACLANE-Micro (KG-175D).
  • TACLANE Trusted Sensor Software is the first-of-its-kind, NSA-approved, optional feature that adds Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) for added intrusion defense system (IDS) and intrusion prevention system (IPS) capability to enhance situational awareness.
  • Agile Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is an optional feature that allows for customers to send and receive Layer 2 and HAIPE traffic over a single encryptor. Using frame encapsulation to encrypt different protocols (IP, VLAN tagged traffic, Ethernet and MPLS) provides network flexibility and eases network transitions and future migrations.
  • GEM One, a new enterprise-level remote management solution, enables users to easily configure, monitor and maintain a dispersed network of encryptors.
