Bill Weiss is vice president of Manufacturing and Logistics for General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics. He leads an international team of professionals, responsible for all manufacturing and logistics support across the company, ensuring on-time, global delivery of mission-critical products, systems and services.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Weiss was vice president and general manager of the company’s Ground Systems line of business. He led a team of engineering and technology professionals responsible for delivering large-scale, resilient, tactical and government networks, command and control systems and training and simulation capabilities for customers worldwide. Mr. Weiss has served in engineering and business roles of increasing leadership and responsibility over his 35-year career with the company.
Mr. Weiss holds a Bachelor of Science in systems engineering and a Master of Science in computer systems engineering from Boston University. He serves on the leadership advisory board of the Boston University College of Engineering; is a member of the board of directors for the Franklin Performing Arts Company; and on the board of directors for “Finding You Sanctuary,” an organization pairing military veterans with rescued dogs.
